The FSG80 is a further development of the proven ATR833-II aircraft radio, which meets the high technical requirements of the Federal Supervisory Authority for Air Traffic Control (BAF) for ground radio stations. The technical testing of the FSG80 fulfills the requirements of ETSI EN 300 676-1/2.
The transmitter and receiver units of the FSG80 radio are derived from the proven ATR series. These have been fundamentally revised so that the FSG80 can be approved as a mobile ground radio station for the mobile aeronautical radio service.
The FSG80 has an automatic recording function. At the touch of a button, up to nine seconds of the last received radio message can be played back.
The FSG80 has two independent memory functions. Firstly, up to 20 frequencies can be stored with individual names. Secondly, the last 10 frequencies used can be easily recalled.
The LCD display is easy to read even at high viewing angles and in direct sunlight.
